Every Yepzy user is entitled to Virtual Debit Cards. These are easily created and destroyed in your app, and offer security, redundancy, and convenience. In this article, you can find out how to use them!
What is a virtual card?
Virtual debit cards are digital payment cards that operate similarly to traditional debit cards but exist entirely in digital form. They are linked to a user's bank account or prepaid account and can be used for online transactions, in-app purchases, or other digital payments. Unlike physical debit cards, virtual debit cards do not have a physical plastic card associated with them; instead, users receive card details such as card number, expiration date, and CVV code electronically. Virtual debit cards offer convenience, security, and flexibility, making them popular for online shopping, subscription services, and managing online expenses.
But what if you want to use your virtual debit cards in-person, for example, at a store or market? This can be done by adding your virtual debit card to a payment wallet, like Google, Samsung, or Apple pay. After you add it to your payment wallet on your phone, payment is as simple as tapping your phone against the card reader during check-out.
